Rice Bowls Fundrasier
If you don't already know me :) My name is Denise Alvey. I am a mom, wife, registered dietitian and a business owner. Two years ago, I opened my own company with a goal to help as many people as I could. I named my company New Perspective Nutrition because after having kids my perspective on everything changed. How I viewed life, my time, my priorities, the world itself; it all changed. I am now seeing through a different lens, truly a new perspective!
As a dietitian, for 16 years now, I’ve been guiding people about what and how much they should be consuming for optimal health but I realized I need to pause, take a step back, and also start focusing on those who have little or nothing to eat.
With this new goal in mind, I connected with up Rice Bowls, a non-profit organization, founded in 1980, that provides meals to 58 homes in 8 countries (India, South Africa, Ethiopia, Zambia, Nicaragua, Honduras, Haiti, and the Philippines) across the world to help raise money to feed orphaned kids.
I’m excited to announce that we hit our @ricebowlsorg fundraising goal!!! We raised enough money to provide 3,030 meals to orphaned children across the country!!
THANK YOU to all who, so generously, contributed to this great cause!
I wanted to post this on my site because I’m proud of our work and want to continue to help where I can. xoxo
