It was a honor to be a speaker at this amazing gymnastics retreat!
As a former elite gymnast myself this was a great opportunity to bring 2 of my passions together; gymnastics and nutrition.
Teaching athletes about the importance of fueling their bodies for optimal performance and recovery is key, especially from a young age.
I went over the fundamentals of performance nutrition:

*What does it mean to eat well?

*What to eat before, during and after training? Same for competition days, what’s truly needed?
